Where Is Hawthorne in Destiny 2

Hawthorne is a vendor in Destiny 2 and is a Guardian’s one-stop shop for all things related to Clans. Her wares may seem a little niche, but Hawthorne is a great resource for boosting your Light Level. Let me show you where Hawthorne is in Destiny 2, along with what she provides and how to access it.

Where to Find Hawthorne in Destiny 2?

You can find Hawthorne to the west of the Tower near Ikora and Drifter. Hawthorne is always standing on a balcony overlooking the city, and you can reach her via the staircase immediately behind her. If you’re a new player, you should be able to interact with Hawthorne after the introductory quest with Shaw on the EDZ.

Although Hawthorne isn’t part of the meet-and-greet when you first visit The Tower, you should be able to interact with her afterward.

What Can I Purchase from Hawthorne?

Hawthorne offers a small selection of goods and several bounties that award Clan XP and Legendary Gear. Here’s the full inventory:

  • Raid Banner – 5000 Glimmer
  • Raid Banner x10 – 50,000 Glimmer
  • Raid Banner – 3 Legendary Shards
  • Raid Banner x10 – 30 Legendary Shards

Raids are the most difficult PvE challenges in Destiny 2, and Raid Banners are an essential purchase if you want to try them. Although not mentioned in the item descriptions, Raid Banners can also be used in Dungeons. These Banners provide valuable Super Energy and Heavy Ammo and can be the difference between life and death in end-game content.

  • Uneven the Odds – Win 4 Gambit Matches
  • Hard-Fought Victory – Win 4 Crucible Matches
  • Raiding Party – Complete Any Raid
  • Collective Force – Complete a Nightfall

These bounties last a week and can only be completed if you’re partied up with at least one other Clan member.

Finally, Hawthorne has a quest up for grabs called a Single Thread. You’ll need to accept this mission to access the Duality Dungeon. Like the other Dungeons, this area is locked behind a key, which can only be purchased with Silver in the in-game shop.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question: Do I need to join a Clan in Destiny 2?

Answer: Although Clans are encouraged, you don’t need to be in one if you’d rather be unaffiliated. You’ll miss out on Hawthorne’s wares, but it’s nothing you won’t get elsewhere if you keep playing.

Question: Are Dungeon keys worth the price?

Answer: Dungeons are my favorite part of Destiny 2 as they are like mini raids you can do with a fire team. If you’ve got a couple of friends, there’s plenty of fun to be had, although the price is arguably quite steep as each key only grants access to two Dungeons.

Question: Can I be in a Clan by myself?

Answer: Yes, you can, but there’s a catch. Hawthorne’s Clan-related tasks specify that two or more Clan members are required. If that’s no issue, and you just want a fancy Clan Tag, you can create a solo Clan.
